Engineer: We are currently looking for
a "Hardware Engineer"
The
Job:
What
we require:
- Fair
knowledge of current hardware.
- Ability
to build, repair and upgrade systems based on
Intel PII, Intel PIII, Intel Celeron, AMD
K6-2, K6-3 and Athlon processors.
- Ability
to configure computer systems and install
device drivers.
- Ability
to diagnose and fault find on defective
computer systems
- Familiarity
with Windows 95, Windows 98 and preferably
Windows NT 4.0 as well, especially relating to
the installation of the operating system and
configuring drivers
- We
believe that what you know is more important
that what certificates you have. All
candidates will be required to answer a few
questions to demonstrate their knowledge.
It
would be nice to have someone who:
- is
friendly and outgoing
- can
handle the odd support call
- is
a fast learner
- who
is keen to keep up to date with the latest
developments
- who
is organized, meticulous and hard working
